VARIETY CHARACTERISTICS

• Variety developed by NAGREF Institute. It is the known alfalfa variety, preffered by farmers in Greece

• Medium - early variety with excellent adaptability to Greek climatic and soil conditions

• In irrigated cultivations it can be harvested 5-6 times per year and it's productivity remains excellent even after 4 years

• The leafs of Ypati are robust with very slim stems and rich folliage

• Re-sprouts early in spring and develops fast after each harvest

• Very resistant to cold temperatures and diseases

• The produced grass has excellent nutritional quality
