The teams of K&NE, AgroApps and Melissa Kikizas presented the Digital AgriConsultant to farmers and agronomists and demonstrated the benefits of this application. The Pest & Disease prediction service of the Digital AgriConsultant of K&NE powered by AgroApps predicted favorable conditions for the development of leaf spot and leaf blotch of wheat in the pilot fields of Melissa Kikizas. At the same time, satellite imagery recorded crop stress from extreme weather events. Performed on-spot visits and inspections during the vegetative stage confirmed the above indications. The Digital AgriConsultant's mid-season fertilization recommendations were used to address crop stress, while the next step for farmers will be to fight fungal infections.
