Function & Mode of action: Profil 20 SG is an insecticide belonging to the group of neonicotinoids. It is a systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action, against a wide range especially sucking insects such as aphids, whiteflies and some Lepidoptera (Phyllocnistis citri). It acts by binding to postsynaptic (nicotinic) acetylcholine receptors in the central nervous system of the insect.
